In this episode, I interview Sarah Snable, R.Kin - Certified Professional Ergonomist and Co-Owner of PROergonomics. Sarah co-founded PROergonomics Inc., an ergonomics consulting firm, which was established in 2013. She has more than 14 years of experience working as a consultant and as an in-house Ergonomist/Ergonomic Specialist. She has expertise in conducting physical and cognitive demands assessments (PDAs/CDAs), office ergonomic assessments, job matching assessments, and delivering ergonomics training to support her clientβs ergonomics needs. Sarah holds a B.Sc. in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and a certificate in Environmental & Occupational Health from the University of Victoria.
In this episode, Sarah tells us how she fell into an ergonomics role, the process to become an Ergonomist and the stigma still associated with being a kinesiologist.
